The project partner STRESSTECH presented ShotTempering with a poster at the RSMSE - Residual Stress in Materials Science and Engineering, 23-25 June 2026, in Kessel (Germany).

Organized by the German Society for Materials Science in collaboration with the University of Kassel, the hybrid event provided an international platform for exchanging the latest scientific and industrial developments in the field.

​

The symposium covered a broad range of topics, including the formation of residual stresses, advanced experimental and numerical characterization techniques, high-throughput measurement methods, additive manufacturing, and diffraction-based approaches using synchrotron and neutron sources. Discussions highlighted how residual stress analysis is increasingly integrated into modern materials design and manufacturing optimization.
